Description

Strongly coloured or new clothes can cause a colour run in your washing machine. This is where excess dye in the fabric leaks into the water in your washing machine and discolours other garments.

The original colours can be brought back with Dr. Beckmann In-Wash Colour Run Remover. It’s ultra strong formulation removes and eliminates unwanted colours, restoring your garments to their previous state.

WARNING: Contact with acids liberates toxic gas. Causes serious eye irritation. Keep out of reach of children. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Contains amongst other ingredients: 15-30 % reductive Bleaching Agents (Sodium Dithionite). Optical Brighteners, Perfumes, Linalool, Limonene.

Directions for use

WASHING MACHINE:

Load the machine with up to 3kg of discoloured washing.
Carefully cut open the sachet and empty all the contents into the detergent draw.
Select the maximum allowable temperature as stated on the fabric care label (do not add any detergent).
Immediately commence main wash cycle. DO NOT use economy, pre-wash or time delay cycles.

IN A BOWL OR BUCKET WITH A LID*:

Completely dissolve a full sachet of powder in 6 litres of hot (above 30°C) water. Ensure temperature is correct for the garments.
Add up to 1.5kg of discoloured washing and submerge fully. Do not add any detergent. Ensure the garments remain completely submerged.
Put a lid on the container so it is airtight
Allow garments to soak for at least 4 hours. For best results allow washing to soak overnight or for up to 24 hours.
Rinse thoroughly several times with clean water, or wash in the washing machine.
With stubborn colour runs the process can be safely repeated.

*In a well-ventilated room. Do not use this method if you have a respiratory disease. Wear rubber gloves.
