12th Cleaning Tip of Christmas: What to do when a red Christmas napkin runs in the wash
Colour runs can be a wash day nightmare, especially around the Christmas season. Dr. Beckmann Colour Safe Colour Run Remover has a bleach free formulation that can remove any unwanted dye, ensuring colours and whites are clean, stain free, and ready to wear.
To remove the colour run you will need to pour the contents of both sachets directly into the machine drum. Add the affected garments and set the machine programme as guided by the wash care label.
For heavy colour runs we recommend you use the hand wash method. For this you will need to desolve the contents of one sachet into 5 litres of water and add the affected garments. Leave at least an hour, ensuring they are fully immersed. Rinse the garments fully with clean water afterwards.
